BACKGROUND CHECK
The National Background Check Program is a legislatively mandated Federal program, which is a part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010. After August 1, 2010, screening became mandatory. The purpose of the program is to ensure that prospective employees have a clean criminal record. In addition, background checks protects patient’s safety and well being.
Level 2 Screening
Level 2 screening is a fingerprint check of state and federal criminal history information conducted through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Cost of Screening
The cost for a Level 2 background screen will cost between $55.00 to $60.00. Your fingerprints will be taken.
